Overview
Cosmos Excavator is a Cosmic-tier axe skin on Astroworld MC, one of 10 Cosmic skins and 29 axe skins in the cosmetic pool. Like every weapon skin on the server it is a pure cosmetic: equipping Cosmos Excavator restyles the look of your axe without changing its damage, durability, attack speed, or any other stat.
How to Obtain
Cosmos Excavator is obtained from the Cosmic Crate, which is opened with a Cosmic Key. Cosmic Keys come from daily and monthly login rewards, higher-tier pouches, and events - there is no way to buy a skin directly for in-game money or to craft one. The Cosmic Crate also carries a 3% bonus chance to roll an Eye of Astroworld on opening, so grinding skins doubles as progress toward the Void Sovereign endgame.
About Cosmic Skins
Cosmic is the top skin tier and the rarest cosmetic category on Astroworld. Cosmic skins feature the most elaborate, space-and-galaxy-themed designs in the pool and are the showpiece pulls every skin collector chases - yet even the rarest Cosmic skin is cosmetic-only and grants no combat advantage.

Axe Skins & the Axe Slot
Axe skins apply to the axe slot. In vanilla Minecraft 1.21 an axe deals more damage per hit than a sword but swings noticeably slower, and a successful axe hit on a player using a shield can disable that shield for several seconds. That trade - higher burst for a slower attack speed - is the same whether the axe wears a plain texture or one of these cosmetic skins.
