Boss Tokens
Boss Tokens are the second currency tied to the boss system. Spend them in the boss-token shop.
Earning Tokens
Tokens pay out on every boss kill, scaled to your damage:
- 2,000+ damage: +5 tokens
- 4,000+ damage: +10 tokens
- 6,000+ damage: +15 tokens
- Top 1-3 placement: +1 bonus token
Checking Your Balance
Run /boss to inspect your token balance and open the boss-token shop. The same command is your hub for the boss system, so it is worth binding to muscle memory if you fight bosses regularly.
Tokens vs Fragments
It is easy to confuse the two boss currencies, but they do different jobs. Fragments are the crafting material that physically builds and upgrades a Boss Armor set, and they come in boss-specific types (Titan, Fuze, Shadow). Boss Tokens are a single universal currency spent in the token shop. You earn both from the same kills - Fragments from the 1,000-damage and top-placement rolls, Tokens from the 2,000/4,000/6,000 damage tiers - so a good run feeds both tracks at once.
Maximising Token Income Per Kill
Tokens scale entirely with your damage, so the goal in every fight is to push into the next tier before the boss dies. Crossing 6,000 damage is worth 15 tokens versus just 5 at the 2,000 mark, so a single high-damage run can triple your payout. The tankier bosses - Wither Warrior at 150,000 HP and the Void Sovereign at 200,000 HP - give the most room to rack up damage, making them the best token farms once your gear can survive them. Landing top 1-3 also adds a bonus token on top.
Token Strategy
Save tokens for the expensive end of the Boss Armor upgrade curve - the L4 (80 fragments) and L5 (90 fragments) per-piece upgrades - where progress otherwise slows to a crawl. Spending tokens to smooth out those last ranks is what separates a near-complete set from a maxed one. Run /boss to see the current shop contents, since the token shop's stock can rotate with seasonal updates.
