Fuze

Fuze

Fuze is the explosive PvE boss. Fire immune, with the most fire-themed mechanics in the boss rotation.

Stats (verified)

  • Type: Zombie
  • Health: 110,000 HP
  • Damage: 65 per hit
  • Immunity: Fire

Mechanics

Fuze uses a custom MythicMobs skill set with two-phase progression. Bring Fire Resistance, and consider a Fuze armor set which carries a Fire Resistance passive.

Strategy

  • Open with Fire Resistance. A Fire Resistance potion neutralises the bulk of Fuze's fire-based damage; drink before you engage, not after you are already burning.
  • Wear the Fuze set if you have it. The gold Fuze armor set grants a Fire Resistance I passive every 10 seconds, which keeps the immunity up for the whole fight without spending potions.
  • Respect the two phases. Fuze's custom MythicMobs script ramps up in phase 2, so hold heals and shields for the back half of its health bar.
  • Skip fire enchants. Fuze is fire-immune, so Immolate, Hellfire and similar fire effects do nothing - bring raw damage instead.

Why Fire Resistance Is Mandatory

In vanilla Minecraft, Fire Resistance makes you immune to burning, lava and fire-based mob attacks. Fuze leans almost entirely on fire damage, so going in without it means you are fighting both the boss and a constant fire tick. The Fuze armor passive and a stockpile of Fire Resistance potions are the difference between a comfortable kill and getting chipped to death by ambient flames.

Rewards

Top placement awards Fuze Fragments used to build the gold Fuze armor set, alongside Boss Tokens and crate keys on the standard reward table - top 1-3 earns a Legendary Key, top 4-5 a Rare Key, and top 1-5 a chance at an Eye of Astroworld. Read the full Boss Armor page for the fragment costs and upgrade math, and the Boss Overview for the damage-tier table.

Recommended Gear

The Fuze set is purpose-built for this fight, but any Boss Armor plus Fire Resistance potions works. Stack non-fire damage enchants, bring healing, and aim past the 1,000-damage threshold for a Fragment roll so each kill moves your set forward.

Common questions about Fuze

How much HP does Fuze have?

Fuze has 110,000 HP and deals 65 damage per hit. It is the explosive, fire-themed PvE boss and is immune to fire, so fire-based enchants like Immolate and Hellfire do nothing to it.

Do I need Fire Resistance for Fuze?

Yes. Fuze leans almost entirely on fire damage, so a Fire Resistance potion is effectively mandatory - drink before you engage. The gold Fuze armor set is ideal because it grants a Fire Resistance I passive every 10 seconds.

What does Fuze drop?

Top placement awards Fuze Fragments used to craft the gold Fuze armor set, plus Boss Tokens and crate keys on the standard reward table - a Legendary Key for top 1-3 and a Rare Key for top 4-5.
