Common Crate

The Common Crate is the entry-level crate on Astroworld, opened with a Common Key. It is the crate new players see most in their first hours, and it is designed to do exactly one thing well - get you basic resources and a little starter cash without any rarity gating. There is nothing flashy here, but a steady stream of Common Keys is what bootstraps a fresh account before you can compete for the better crate tiers.

Reward Pool

Common Crates roll cash bundles, basic resources (iron, gold and the occasional diamond), food, ender pearls, and XP bottles. The mix is deliberately practical: food keeps you fed while you build, ender pearls cover early travel and escapes, and the iron and gold cover your first tools and armour. Exact amounts and weights are configured in the Common crate file and may shift with balance updates, so the in-game preview is the source of truth for current contents.

How to Get Common Keys

• Lower-tier boss reward pools and pouches - even small boss contributions and basic pouches can include Common Keys.
• Daily login rewards - claiming your daily reward is a free, no-effort key source.
• Events - handed out generously during seasonal events.

Getting the Most From Early Keys

Because the Common pool is resource-focused, the smart play early on is to funnel everything into gearing up rather than selling. Use the iron and gold for your first sets, save XP bottles for your initial enchants, and keep ender pearls for emergencies. Once you have a working kit and can survive boss fights, you will start earning Rare and Legendary keys, at which point Common Crates become a steady background trickle rather than your main loot source.

Where It Sits in the Crate Ladder

Common is the bottom rung of the three general crates - Common → Rare → Legendary - and sits alongside the special Vote, Cosmic and Nitro crates. For higher-tier loot, work your way up the ladder by improving your boss performance.
