Well Coins
Well Coins are a special-purpose currency spent at the wishing well at spawn. They exist for exactly one thing - rolling the well's reward pool - which makes them the simplest currency on Astroworld to understand: you collect coins, you toss them into the well, and the well hands back a random prize. Run /wellcoin to check your balance, then right-click the well fountain to spend a coin and claim a reward.
How the Wishing Well Works
The well at spawn is an interactive feature, not just decoration. Each right-click on the fountain consumes one Well Coin from your balance and rolls a single reward from the well's loot table. There is no skill or timing involved - every roll is independent, so a stack of coins is simply a stack of rolls you can cash in whenever you like. Because the well lives in the safe spawn region, you can spend coins without any PvP risk.
Earning Well Coins

- Crate drops - several crate tiers include Well Coins in their reward pool.
- Event participation - seasonal events often hand out coins as a side reward.
Reward Pool
The well rolls a random crate-style reward that can include cash bundles, crate keys, AstroCoins and assorted items. The exact contents and weights are configured server-side and rotate with seasonal updates, so the pool you see this month may differ from last month - the in-game well preview always reflects the current table.
Saving Coins for Better Value
Since every roll is independent, there is no mechanical advantage to spending coins immediately versus saving them. Some players prefer to bank a large balance and roll in bulk during double-reward events, when the well's payouts are temporarily boosted. Watch the announcements channel on Discord for those windows if you want the most value from each coin.

- Always claim your daily login - it is the steadiest free coin source over time.
- Well Coins are not tradeable, so you cannot buy or sell them on the Auction House.
- Rolls are instant and risk-free; the well sits inside the protected spawn area.
