Money

Money ($) is the headline currency on Astroworld, provided by Vault. It pays for auctions, claim block top-ups (where supported), store cosmetics, and player-to-player trades.

Earning Money

  • Voting - $750 per claimed vote (see How to Vote)
  • Bosses - cash and crate keys for damage and placement
  • Pouches & crates - cash bundles in nearly every reward pool, especially Legendary and Cosmic
  • Auction House - the highest cash-per-hour activity for experienced players. See Auction House.

Spending Money

  • /ah - buy player listings
  • Player trades via /pay <player> <amount>

Commands

  • /bal - your balance
  • /baltop - server leaderboard
  • /pay <player> <amount> - send money

How Much Is Money Worth?

Money is the currency everything is priced in, so its value is best understood relative to the rewards you earn. A single claimed vote pays $750, the Vote Crate rolls bundles from $1,000 up to $25,000, and the higher crate tiers scale far beyond that - the Nitro Crate can pay $25k to $250k and the Cosmic Crate rolls $500k to $1M cash bundles. Knowing those numbers helps you judge whether an Auction House listing is a bargain or a rip-off before you buy.

Building Wealth Efficiently

For a new player the reliable path is voting plus selling drops, which guarantees steady income with zero risk. Once you have starter gear, boss fights become the better hourly rate because every damage tier pays cash and crate keys on top of fragments. Experienced players make the most money flipping rare items on the Auction House - buying underpriced listings and reselling them - which is why baltop is usually dominated by active traders rather than grinders.

Money vs Other Currencies

Money is the only currency used in player-to-player trades and the Auction House. It does not buy cosmetics (that is AstroCoins), boss-token gear (that is Boss Tokens), or well rolls (that is Well Coins). Keep them mentally separate so you do not, for example, try to grind cash for something the store only sells for points.

Protecting Your Money

Your cash balance is stored on your account and never drops on death, even in the PvP world - only inventory items are at risk. The main way to lose money is a bad trade, so use /pay only with players you trust and confirm Auction House prices before buying. Staff will never ask you to /pay them; treat any such request as a scam and /report it.
