Arenas
PvP Arenas & PvP World
Astroworld has a dedicated PvP world plus boss arenas inside it. PvP is always on inside these zones, regardless of your PvP Toggle.
Zone List
- PvP World - entire world flagged PvP-on; loot drops on death.
- Boss PvP Arenas - host of Slimy Soldier, Wicked Witch and Wither Warrior.
- Eye Arena - summoning location for the Void Sovereign (inside the PvP world).
Loot Rules
Inside PvP zones, dying drops your inventory and the killer can loot it. See Death Rules for the full breakdown.
Combat Tag
Inside the Survival worlds the Combat Tag system stops you from teleporting or logging out during a fight. Logging out while tagged kills your character and drops your inventory at the logout point.
How the PvP World Differs From Survival
The PvP world is a separate dimension from the Survival worlds, and the difference is the default state of danger. In Survival, PvP is opt-in and off by default; in the PvP world, PvP is on for everyone, all the time, with no toggle. That single change reshapes how you play: you enter expecting to fight, you bring gear you are willing to lose, and you treat every other player as a potential threat from the moment you arrive.
Choosing What to Bring
Because death in any PvP zone drops your full inventory, the cardinal rule is to never carry more than you can afford to lose. Many players keep a dedicated "PvP loadout" - solid but replaceable armour and weapons - separate from their best collection gear. Items protected by a Soulbound-style enchant are the exception, since they stay with you on death, making them the safest things to take into contested arenas.
Fighting Bosses in a Contested Arena
The boss arenas inside the PvP world add a second layer of pressure: you are racing to out-damage both the boss and rival players. The party that controls the arena usually claims top placement and the best rewards, so coordination matters more here than in the peaceful PvE boss arenas. Push your damage tier for Fragments and Boss Tokens while teammates screen you from enemy players.
The Endgame Eye Arena
The Void Sovereign Eye Arena sits inside the PvP world. Summoning the boss requires placing 16 Eyes of Astroworld across its 8 pillars, and the whole encounter plays out under full PvP rules - the hardest fight on the server, made harder by the fact that other players can interfere. Bring a maxed group and your best survivable gear.
