Inferno Ward
What Inferno Ward does
Gives permanent fire resistance.
It triggers on effect static and can be applied to all armors. It has a single level, so there is nothing to upgrade once the book is on the item. You may see it written as Obsidianshield in older guides; in game it reads Inferno Ward.

When it fires
Inferno Ward only checks when the item is worn or held, with no trigger needed. Outside that moment the enchant is inert, so it is worth matching it to how you actually play.

How to Obtain
Rare and Legendary Crates, and the vote bonus roll (0.5% chance per claimed vote).

Applying Enchants
Use /ae in-game to access the enchant menu. Higher-tier books have lower default apply success rates. Pair the book with Magic Dust to increase the success rate, and apply a White Scroll to the target item first to protect it from breaking on a failed apply.
