Suspend
What Suspend does
Chance to cause no knockback to mobs.
It triggers on attack mob and can be applied to all swords. The enchant goes up to level 3, and each level changes the numbers rather than the behaviour, so the table below is the whole picture.
Effects per level
| Level | Chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 40% | stop knockback on the victim |
| 2 | 80% | stop knockback on the victim |
| 3 | always | stop knockback on the victim |
When it fires
Suspend only checks when you land a melee hit on a mob. Outside that moment the enchant is inert, so it is worth matching it to how you actually play.
Other Legendary enchants that fire on the same trigger: Allure, Ender Slayer, Immolate, Nether Slayer, Nightwalker. Stacking several of these on one item means more rolls in the same moment rather than coverage of new situations.

How to Obtain
Rare Crate, mid-tier pouches, and the vote bonus roll (3% chance per claimed vote).
See the How to Get Enchants page for all enchant sources and the recommended apply workflow.
Applying Enchants
Use /ae in-game to access the enchant menu. Higher-tier books have lower default apply success rates. Pair the book with Magic Dust to increase the success rate, and apply a White Scroll to the target item first to protect it from breaking on a failed apply.
About the Legendary Tier
The Legendary tier (AE group: ELITE) contains 41 enchants in total. For a full breakdown of all tiers, see the Enchant Tiers page.
