XP Boost
What XP Boost does
Chance to increase EXP drops from mobs.
It triggers on kill mob and can be applied to all swords. The enchant goes up to level 4, and each level changes the numbers rather than the behaviour, so the table below is the whole picture. You may see it written as Inquisitive in older guides; in game it reads XP Boost.

When it fires
XP Boost only checks when you kill a mob. Outside that moment the enchant is inert, so it is worth matching it to how you actually play.
Other Cosmic enchants that fire on the same trigger: Mob Multi, Soulgrind. Stacking several of these on one item means more rolls in the same moment rather than coverage of new situations.

How to Obtain
Legendary Crate, high-tier pouches, and the vote bonus roll (0.1% chance per claimed vote).

Applying Enchants
Use /ae in-game to access the enchant menu. Higher-tier books have lower default apply success rates. Pair the book with Magic Dust to increase the success rate, and apply a White Scroll to the target item first to protect it from breaking on a failed apply.
