Lifegain
What Lifegain does
Gain some health back after kills.
It triggers on kill player;kill mob and can be applied to all axes and all swords. The enchant goes up to level 3, and each level changes the numbers rather than the behaviour, so the table below is the whole picture. You may see it written as Rebound in older guides; in game it reads Lifegain.
Effects per level
| Level | Chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25% | add health 2 on the attacker |
| 2 | 35% | add health 4 on the attacker |
| 3 | 45% | add health 6 on the attacker |
When it fires
Lifegain gets a chance to fire in more than one situation, which makes it far less situational than a single-trigger enchant:
- When you kill a player.
- When you kill a mob.

How to Obtain
Legendary Crate, high-tier pouches, and the vote bonus roll (0.1% chance per claimed vote).
See the How to Get Enchants page for all enchant sources and the recommended apply workflow.
Applying Enchants
Use /ae in-game to access the enchant menu. Higher-tier books have lower default apply success rates. Pair the book with Magic Dust to increase the success rate, and apply a White Scroll to the target item first to protect it from breaking on a failed apply.
About the Cosmic Tier
The Cosmic tier (AE group: LEGENDARY) contains 54 enchants in total. For a full breakdown of all tiers, see the Enchant Tiers page.
