Ignite
What Ignite does
Light opponents on fire.
It triggers on attack;attack mob;shoot;shoot mob and can be applied to trident. The enchant goes up to level 3, and each level changes the numbers rather than the behaviour, so the table below is the whole picture. You may see it written as Spark in older guides; in game it reads Ignite.
Effects per level
| Level | Chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25% | burn 40 on the victim |
| 2 | 35% | burn 40 on the victim |
| 3 | 15% | burn 40 on the victim |
When it fires
Ignite gets a chance to fire in more than one situation, which makes it far less situational than a single-trigger enchant:
- When you land a melee hit on a player.
- When you land a melee hit on a mob.
- When your arrow hits a player.
- When your arrow hits a mob.

Rare Crate, mid-tier pouches, and the vote bonus roll (3% chance per claimed vote).
See the How to Get Enchants page for all enchant sources and the recommended apply workflow.
Applying Enchants
Use /ae in-game to access the enchant menu. Higher-tier books have lower default apply success rates. Pair the book with Magic Dust to increase the success rate, and apply a White Scroll to the target item first to protect it from breaking on a failed apply.
About the Legendary Tier
The Legendary tier (AE group: ELITE) contains 41 enchants in total. For a full breakdown of all tiers, see the Enchant Tiers page.
